brunston castle members' site

Welcome to our site

Brunston Castle Golf Course has its own business website, [www.brunstoncastle.co.uk]   but for members it is often more useful to know details about competition entries, results and handicap adjustments.  So we decided to set up this  'brunstonmembers'  website to keep you in touch without having to hang around at the end of a phone or drive over to the clubhouse.

Please be patient as this is a new venture and even webmasters go on holiday - and do not walk around with a laptop strapped to their backs. Everyone on the committee is trying their best and hopefully the results will please you.  But do remember we are human!

If you have anything you wish to share with other members, we will put it into the news section of our site.  However, first things first and this outline will get the basics filled in and then deal with the frills.  You will notice it growing and any suggestions about what should be in these pages will be considered.

Another possibility is to keep the online store feature for members wishing to sell golf gear when they change their sets, or junior clubs when they grow.  This would go through the Club Secretary till you do your own deal.

It will be a team effort - some of the team who glaze over at the word 'computer'  will be learning as they go - and with your help we hope it will be a successful experiment.

Another team effort is our clubgolf coaching.  The number of volunteers is encouraging,  but so is the list of youngsters - so if you can help at all, speak to any of the Committee or click below for all information for helpers and parents.

The clubgolf lessons and some movie clips to match are linked to the Junior page.  The movie lessons are the simplest lessons apart from ones I had from Bob Torrance - so highly recommended! All lessons available on a DVD which you can get from myself.
